Every garment is designed in London and handmade in our family atelier in Plovdiv, Bulgaria—a historic town known for its artistry and beauty. The skill, precision, and dedication ensure that every stitch, seam, and finish is perfected by hand.
This slow, personal process is what gives Plissé London garments their timeless quality—pieces created with love, patience, and uncompromising attention to detail, made to be worn and treasured for a lifetime.
Fabrics & Materials
We carefully source natural, end-of-roll fabrics directly from couture factories in Italy and France. These remnants are the same fabrics you see on the catwalks and in glossy magazines, but are often destined for landfills once the major fashion houses are done with them.
At Plissé London, we give them a second life. To ensure both quality and authenticity, we only select fabrics with at least 80% natural content—cotton, silk, linen, and wool—which are naturally breathable, soft on the skin, and biodegradable. Because these rolls come in small quantities, every garment we make is truly limited and unique.
Minimum Waste & Minimum Inventory
Sustainability guides every step of our process.
We follow a minimum waste policy, carefully reusing fabric scraps by incorporating them into unique designs, chic garment bags, tweed ribbons, or mini accessories.
We also adopt a minimum inventory approach. Each garment is made to order, typically within 7–10 days. This slower, intentional process allows us to produce only what is truly needed, avoiding excess stock and ensuring every piece carries the value of time, patience, and craft.
Recycling & Packaging
Our dedication to sustainability goes beyond clothing. All packaging, hangtags, and labels are made from 100% recycled or recyclable materials.
