Clothes with soul

Our mission is simple.

For us - sustainability is not innovation. It is how fashion was born - from the love for natural fabrics, appreciation of exclusive craftsmanship and with the aim to bring out one's individuality.

Sourcing of fabrics and materials

  • We are committed to sourcing natural, end of roll fabrics, from Italy and France. The benefits of natural fabrics are numerous.
    • Fabrics like cotton, silk, linen and wool are naturally hypoallergenic, enhancing performance providing softness to the skin and breathability, something that man-made fabrics don't have.
    • They are also gentle to the environment by being biodegradable. Polyester takes on average between 20 to 200 years to decompose compared to wool, which takes between 3-4 months.
  • End of roll or also called remnant fabrics are those that you will often see from famous couture brands collections at their catwalk or across glossy magazines, but have been destined to be send to waste or landfills as they haven't been fully utilised by the brands. We go through a careful selection with our suppliers and pick those with at least 80% of natural contents. End of roll fabrics often come in small quantities, allowing us to make unique and limited number of pieces from each fabric.

Craftsmanship

This is the part that is the closest to our heart.

We have love and passion for materials, timeless designs and exceptional quality. All of our garments are designed in London and produced in our atelier at the centre of Plovdiv, a small town, rich in history and natural beauty in Bulgaria.

We employ a minimum waste and minimum inventory policy. Every time we produce clothes we aim to minimise fabric scraps and upscale them – for example we would often incorporate them into the design of some of our unique pieces, into a clothing bag or marketing materials (garment bags, tweed ribbons, chic mini bags).

Our minimum inventory policies means that at any point in time we have minimum inventory and we produce the garment once you place the order. Whilst this takes a bit longer to produce (typically between 7-10 days before it is shipped) we believe all good things are worth the wait and your patience will be rewarded with a beautiful garment you will wear for life.

This ensures that all clothes are made with love and attention to every detail and are of uncompromising quality.

Recycling and Impact

We believe sustainability needs to be embedded in every part of the cycle.

Our beautiful packaging is made of 100% recycled paper. The hangtags on the garments are made from 100% recycled paper whilst the frosting is from recyclable paper. Our brand and content labels are made from 100% recycled polyester.

We understand that our work here is not done. Please keep coming back to this page to see how we continue to strive to make our mission a reality.

Thank you for reading this and being part of this journey. Without you and your commitment, the tough questions you ask and your continuous support, all of this will be impossible to achieve.
